Urban Camper Stop on “Kraybrezhna” Street
The Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo has established an urban camper stop at the foot of the Tsarevets Fortress. The initiative supports campervan and caravan tourism, which is becoming increasingly popular both in Bulgaria and across Europe.
The designated area is the first of its kind in the country to be developed within an urban environment and offers 16 parking spaces.
The camper stop is located at the municipal parking lot on “Kraybrezhna” Street, just a 5-minute walk from the entrance of Tsarevets – the most visited museum site in Bulgaria. It is equipped with all essential facilities, including water supply, electricity, and the possibility for direct wastewater disposal into the sewage system.
The camper stop is already operational, and directional signs have been installed at all entrances to Veliko Tarnovo to assist travelers.
