Veliko Tarnovo is part of the largest tourism exhibition in Bulgaria! From today until Tuesday, one of the most significant events in the field of tourism in the Balkans is taking place at the Inter Expo Center – the Vacation & SPA Expo exhibition.
The stand of the old capital is traditionally one of the most visited during the fair. This year, the cultural calendar of the municipality is filled with anniversary editions of favorite festivals, and in September we will also celebrate 40 years of the “Tsarevgrad Tarnov – Sound and Light” spectacle.
The Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh, who opened the exhibition, talked with the manager of “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” Borislav Yordanov about the XXth edition of the ITF “Cultural Tourism”, which will be held in early October and is expected to visit the old capital for the city’s holiday celebrations on March 22-nd.
Our stand also became a “field for performance” for a group of students, who used the unusual setting to invite their teacher to their ball at the end of the school year.
During the exhibition, another main event will also be presented – the National Sheep Breeders’ Festival in Bulgaria – the largest outdoor event in its field and the only one of its kind in Europe. This year, the festival will be held on May 30, 31 and June 1 at the Peter and Paul Monastery.
