Somewhere in Europe, in a big city. War. A general mobilization of men has been declared in the country. Alexander—a writer and an ambidexter—must choose between war and love. The play “I, Who Love You” is a funny, tragic, frank, and profound story of a young human soul fighting for the right to feel. Alexander’s journey toward Bella is a path to realizing the price of human life. Drawing on situations and events from the contemporary global context, the dramaturgy contrasts war and love as two consuming forces fighting for dominance against each other.
