The Giro d’Italia Comes to Bulgaria!
One of the most watched and beloved cycling races in the world is coming to Bulgaria! Tens of thousands of visitors and cycling fans are expected. The Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, together with clubs and organizations, has prepared a THREE-DAY FESTIVAL for all fans of sports, cycling, and good vibes! (Scroll down for the full program!)
On May 9 (Saturday – Europe Day), our beautiful city will host Stage 2 of the Giro d’Italia. The finish of Stage 2 will take place right in the center of Veliko Tarnovo and will be broadcast live in dozens of countries on major sports channels like Eurosport.
