“A Garden Under the Sky” with Live Flowers in Veliko Tarnovo on Palm Sunday!
We invite both children and adults to dress in colorful costumes, wear flower or character masks, and join the vibrant “Spring Parade” on April 5.
The procession starts at 10:30 AM from the Student Canteen and will pass along the entire main street “Vasil Levski.” Highlights will include stilt performers transformed into living flowers, colorful butterflies, and ancient trees. Leading the parade will be Spring herself, playing the violin, while a living Orchid with a harp will welcome visitors in front of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo.
After the parade, the celebration continues in Marno Pole Park with animations, games, a children’s costume show with many prizes, and a flower and crafts market. All name-day celebrants will receive a special gift – a live flower. The market opens at 10:00 AM and will run until 5:00 PM.
