The house was built by master Kolyu Ficheto in 1849 for the merchant Nikola Koyuv.
It is so called because right above the main entrance, there is a very small, almost imperceptible sculpture of a seated figure and a plaque with an inscription.
The exterior decoration of the house features red bricks with white joints. Like other houses in Tarnovo, the house is located on two streets, but it is built on extremely narrow terrain with a frontage of about 6 m. and a depth of 15 m. However, it rises high up, consisting of 3 floors.
