The idea of chamber concerts in the church-museum “St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel” in the village of Arbanasi was established in 2009, when the Belgian musicians, the Medstag family – the Belgian Dimitri and Yulita Faseva, born in Veliko Tarnovo – visited the church as tourists. Musicians with established international careers, performing concerts all over Europe, they were very impressed by the unique acoustics of the building and offered the director of the Regional History Museum in Veliko Tarnovo to perform concerts together with their fellow musicians next summer.
