From November 1st this year, the sites and expositions of the Regional History Museum – Veliko Tarnovo will switch to winter working hours:
• Tsarevets : 9:00 – 16:00. Closes at 17:00. No day off.
Patriarchal Church of the Holy Ascension of the Lord: 9:15 – 16:45. Cleaning – Tuesday 9:15 – 12:00
• Trapezitsa : 9:00 – 16:00. Closes at 17:00. No day off.
The site will be closed to visitors from December 1st, 2025 to March 31st, 2026. The funicular will cease operation on October 31st this year.
• Archaeological Museum: 9:00 – 16:30. Closes at 5:30 p.m. No day off. Cleaning – Monday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Museum “Revival and Constituent Assembly”: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Closes at 5:30 p.m. No day off. Cleaning – Tuesday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Church “St. 40 Martyrs”: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Closes at 5:00 p.m. No day off. Cleaning – Monday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Museum “Zatvor”: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closes at 5:30 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday. Cleaning – Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Museum “Nova istoriya”: Does not accept visitors until further notice.
• Sarafkina House Museum: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closes at 5:30 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday. Cleaning – Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Tsarevgrad Tarnov Orthodox Church: Opens at 9:00 a.m. Accepts visitors from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closes at 5:30 p.m. No day off. Cleaning – Monday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• General History Museum, Kilifarevo: Accepts visitors by prior appointment the previous day at tel. 0886 927 014, only on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Nativity Church: 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for visitors. Closes at 4:00 PM. No day off. Cleaning – Tuesday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Guided tours by prior arrangement the day before at tel. 0885/105 282.
On the temple holiday of December 25, 2025, the church will receive visitors free of charge from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, without allowing the lighting of candles, with the exception of interior candlesticks used in front of the site.

Receives visitors free of charge on November 17, 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00.
• Memorial House “Philip Totyu” and EC “Osenarska Reka” in the village of Voneshta Voda: 10:00 – 15:30. Closes at 16:00. No day off.
From December 1, 2025 to March 20, 2026 it is closed. It accepts visitors only by prior appointment at tel. 0886/258 832.
• AR “Nicopolis ad Istrum” from 9:00 to 15:30. Closes at 16:30. No day off.

• Church “St. Ivan Rilski” and “Shishmanovata Banya”: 9:00 – 16:30. Closes at 5:00 PM. No day off. Prevention – Wednesday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
From December 1, 2025 to March 20, 2026, the sites do not accept visitors.
The ticket offices will stop selling tickets 30 minutes, and for the Tsarevets Memorial Museum, Trapezitsa Memorial Museum, Nicopolis ad Istrum Memorial Museum, the Revival and Constituent Assembly Museum, the Archaeological Museum and Tsarevgrad Tarnov Memorial Museum – 1 hour before the end of the announced working hours.
From December 1, the sale of the combined ticket for visiting 10 sites and the combined ticket for Tsarevgrad Tarnov Memorial Museum, St. Peter and St. Paul Church and St. Ivan Rilski Church will be suspended.
