The musical event takes place in the medieval church-museum «St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel» (17th century) in the village of Arbanasi. The organizers are the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and Regional History Museum – Veliko Tarnovo.
Each edition of the festival includes a concert for wind instruments, a concert for strings and a general concert for all musicians. Over the years, the inclusion of vocals has been experimented with. Every year, the program also includes works by famous classical or contemporary composers, which are performed for the first time in Bulgaria.
