Veliko Tarnovo will mark 187 years since the birth of the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski. In front of the Deacon’s monument, located in the center of the Old Capital, it will be remembered that Vasil Ivanov Kunchev, born on July 18, 1837, is among the greatest Bulgarian heroes, and his deeds, his unreserved love for Bulgaria and his self-denial in the name of the Fatherland they rank him on the highest step in the native pantheon.
